It all started in high school in February 2018. Jordyn was a junior, Jacob was a senior, and from then on, they’ve been pretty much inseparable.

On February 27, 2018, they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend — a date that means even more to them now, as it’s exactly nine years to the day before they say “I do.” What began as a high school romance quickly became a lifelong partnership.

They stayed together through the rest of high school, and when Jordyn moved to Seattle for nursing school, they took on long distance. It wasn’t always easy, but they made it work — visiting each other as often as they could and holding onto the certainty that the hard seasons would be worth it.

Over the last eight years, they’ve grown up side by side, learning, loving, and building a life together. The past two years have been especially full of adventure — traveling, exploring new places, and creating memories they’ll cherish forever.

And now, they can’t wait to begin their next chapter as husband and wife.
